Dr. Walden Returns Home
Medicine is a highly demanding field. In order to enter this field, it is necessary for any given practitioner to gain as much training and education as possible first. A good education may take the applicant to many places including local schools and schools in other parts of the world. Someone who has traveled where necessary to complete her own education is Dr. Jennifer Walden. In a recent article for Austin MD Magazine, Walden speaks about her own varied educational background and her own efforts to gain the training fully necessary to help her patients.
Her Own Plans
Walden is a Texas native who grew up in the Austin area. It was here that she realized that medicine was her love and her calling. The future doctor excelled academically, doing well enough to earn admission to the University of Texas and then to a well regarded medical school. While she was there, she realized that she wanted to specialize in the field of plastics to help patients recover from injury and look and feel great as well. Her training started in Texas but she left the area in order to learn even more at one of the most prestigious hospitals in New York City. While here, she did well and engaged in original research in this field.
After completing her post-secondary education, Walden returned home to her native Texas. She decided it was time to open her own practice in this region. She also had twin boys and wanted to return home to her roots to help raise them in an area where she knew her parents would be happy to be with them. Her entire family is in this area, making it easy for her to keep up her family ties and settle into an area that she really loves. In the years since returning home, Walden has been happy to spend her spare time enjoying the Texas sunshine and the wide open country. Her practice has continued to grow as many of her patients have continued to praise her many skills in the field of plastics.
